Marijana Andric, our Manager, was assigned for creation of a study that summarizes the impact of COVID19 onto the ICT industry of North Macedonia. The study was prepared in cooperation with the Platform for Public – Private Dialogue consisting of the Economic Chamber of Macedonia, Chamber of Commerce for Information and Communication Technologies – MASIT, Chamber of Commerce of Northwest Macedonia and the Association of the Macedonian Chambers of Commerce. The coordination was leaded by EPI CENTER International and supported by the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The study consists of detailed review of international practices explaining foreign response and resilience to the Covid-19 outbreak. International governments have demonstrated different approaches without having a specific guiding template. Also, the study is based on surveys, interviews answered and original financial data collected from the North Macedonian ICT industry. The study also proposed strategies and measures that should be undertaken in order to easily overcome the pandemic period.
